    New control demos

I have now written demos for the WigbiWizard and the GoogleAnalytics controls, which also means that I have reviewed them thoroughly and adjusted their behavior if needed.

The WigbiWizard is almost re-written from scratch and now features new functionality. Besides the add function, the control now also has a validate function, which validates the Wigbi configuration without displaying anything.

The downloadable Wigbi Demos 0.99 application are now also using the wizard to see if the system is up and running before attempting to initialize the system as it does the first time you run it.

    Wigbi 0.99 – slow progress

Since I do not have a lot of time to develop Wigbi due to a wonderful family life, progress is slow…but there IS progress.

I have fixed a LOT of issues in this release and will finish the WigbiWizard control before releasing the 0.99 version. However, I am facing some line-break issues in the IniReader. Windows cannot parse the file correctly since it iterprets the line feeds as values – but only certain line feeds. This causes Wigbi to try to access the database, even if no data parameters are defined. If you backspace so that the line feeds are deleted, then press enter, everything works ok…so I will check this out as well.

If anyone has any tips regarding how to read text files line by line in an OS independent way – just let me know. I am currenty trying to manually replace various line feed characters to a sincle uniform character, but am obviously doing something incorrectly.
